Escape to the Maitland View Retreat located at the door step of the Maitland River and close to the sandy beaches of Lake Huron.  Discover the natural beauty of Ontario’s West Coast landscape and enjoy fly fishing on local rivers and streams.  Explore the retreats extensive hiking and skiing trail system along the river valley.  Enjoy bird watching,  catch a glimpse of the deer or simply rejuvenate in the peace and quiet of nature.

The retreat is an expansive home set on its own private 135 acre refuge along the Maitland River.  From the moment you arrive, you will know that you have come to someplace very special.  The retreat provides all amenities and services while you relax as if you were in your home.  With plenty of space indoors and out, you can read a book, spend the day fly fishing, take a midnight dip in the pool or visit many of the local attractions.

During the spring, summer and autumn, the property delivers a chance to get ‘up close and personal’ with the diverse flora and fauna of the rare Carolinian species in the region.  Enjoy a picnic on the trails or photograph the natural surroundings.  In the quiet solitude of winter, the retreat is open for guests to enjoy cross country skiing on the Maitland Trail, snowmobiling on OFSC trails or snuggling up to the fire.
